About me
Bryon Kolbeck is the Chief Technology Officer for Lewisville ISD. Lewisville ISD is located approximately 25 miles Northwest of Dallas and with his leadership the Technology Department oversees over 50K iPads and maintains one of the largest public-sector fiber optic networks in Denton County. Bryon oversees three divisions which provide technology services to the District’s 69 campuses. The divisions include: Technical Services, Information Services, and Network Infrastructure & Cyber-Security. Bryon’s leadership helped guide the District in developing long-range technology plans which were used to establish technology project costs included in the District’s successful passage of a Spring 2017 and Fall 2023 bond referendums. He also helped lead LISD to become the 1st district in Texas to be awarded CoSN’s Trusted Learning Environment Seal. Bryon served on the Texas K-12 CTO Council Board from 2017-2020 and we the chair person in 2018-2019. In 2021, Bryon was recognized as the Texas K-12 CTO Council's Outstanding CTO of the Year and was named CoSN's CTO of the Year for 2021.
